    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup chunk style peanut butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 teas vanilla
    1/4 teas salt
    2 cups sifted flour
    1 cup chocolate bits, melted
    1/2 cup chunk style peanut buter
    whole salted peanuts

    Recipe



    Cream butter and 1/2 cup peanut butter
    Add sugar gradually
    Beat in egg & vanilla
    Blend in salt & flour
    Pat into greased 15x10x1" pan
    Bake at 325° for about 25 minutes
    Combine chocolate & 1/2 cup peanut butter
    Spread over hot baked surface
    Cut into diamonds while warm
    Pace a peanut in center of each diamond
    Makes about 4 dozen
