    2-1/4 cups flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 cup margarine, softened
    1/4 cup sugar
    3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. (4 serving size) butterscotch instant pudding mix
    2 eggs
    1 pkg. (12 oz.) butterscotch chips
    1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

    Recipe



    Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars, vanilla, and pudding mix in a large mixing bowl; beat until smooth and creamy.
    Beat in eggs.
    Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in chips and nuts.
    Drop by rounded measuring teaspoons, about 2" apart on to a cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes
    Also good using semi-sweet chocolate chips & vanilla pudding
