1 cup of butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup peanuts, finely chopped
2 cups flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats, uncooked
1-1/2 cups wheat flaked cereal, crushed

Recipe



Cream together butter, sugars
Add beaten eggs to creamed mixture; mix well
Blend vanilla into creamed mixture
Chop peanuts fine
Crush wheat cereal
Sift together sifted flour, baking powder, soda, and salt
Blend together sifted ingredients, peanuts, wheat cereal, and rolled oats; add to creamed mixture;mix well
Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet
Bake in oven 350° 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned
Makes 12 dozen cookies
