    Tiger-Striped Chocolate Chip Cookies

    2 1/2 cups flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    8 oz tub margarine
    1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
    1 cup granulated white sugar
    1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 (8 oz) milk chocolate bar, cut into 1/4 to 1/2-inch chunks
    1 (6 oz) pkg semisweet chocolate chips

    Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt, and set aside.

    Cream margarine, peanut butter, and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add sifted ingredients, and mix well. Gently stir in chocolate chunks.

    Melt chocolate chips over very low heat. Carefully stir melted chocolate into cookie dough. Do NOT blend into dough, chocolate should be swirled just enough to make stripes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.

    Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheets. Store in airtight container.
