Braised Flanken Ribs

2 packages of flanken ribs (4 rib strips in each package weight varies)
1 envelope dry onion soup (any brand, I have used Lipton, Cambells and store brand interchangably)
8 oz sliced musrooms (optional)
Layer meat, soup and mushrooms in the crock pot and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Remove meat from pot and put in covered dish to stay warm. Pour liquid into saucepan and reduce to half or one third for gravy (takes about 30 to 45 mins). No need to brown meat.
Serve with noodles or mashed potatoes. as well. Cover and cook until the beef falls apart.
