    1 1 pound package Mexican or plain pasteurized process cheese spread
    1 1/3 cups chunky salsa
    1 4 ounce can chopped chilies, drained
    1/4 teaspoon pepper

    Combine all ingredients in a 3 to 4 quart crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until cheese is melted, stirring twice during cooking. Remove the lid from the crockpot and cook on high for 1 hour longer, until mixture is hot. 8 to 10 servings.
