Crockpot Kielbasa & Sauerkraut

2 rings of Polish smoked kielbasa ( cut into 10 parts to make 10 sandwiches )
2 cans of 27 oz. sauerkraut ( washed and squeezed out)
1 large onion (diced)
salt/pepper/paprika
caraway seed (optional)
Recipe
Place one can of kraut onto bottom of crockpot. Season. Spread 1/2 of diced onion. Put in kielbasi. Top with remaining kraut, onion, and season.
Cook on high for about 4 hours or low for 6 hours. Times can vary somewhat depending on quantity of kielbasi or brand of kielbasa. Place on hogie rolls. Serve with mustard.
* Sometimes I dice up potatoes and spread throughout.
