Greek Chicken Pita Filling

1 onion, chopped
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2 cup yogurt
Combine all ingredients except yogurt in 4 to 6 quart slow cooker and mix well. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours. Just before serving, remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with two forks. Stir yogurt into onion mixture in slow cooker. Make sandwiches with chicken and onion filling and pita breads. Serve this filling in pita breads, topped with chopped vegetables like onion and cucumber and sour cream or yogurt. 4 sandwiches.
