Lazy Red Wine Crock Pot Roast

2 cups red wine
1/2 cup water
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon dried rosemary or fresh rosemary
4 lbs trimmed beef roast
1 to 2 teaspoon cornstarch
Recipe
Place the roast in the crock pot and season with pepper.
Mix the first five ingredients together and pour over the roast. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
Remove the roast to rest on a platter. Turn the crock pot to high. Whisk the cornstarch into a little cold water then into the juices to thicken.
