Wild Mushroom Beef Stew

1-1/2 to 2 pounds beef stew meat, cut in 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1-1/2 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon paprika
4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
2 medium carrots, sliced
2 medium potatoes, diced
1 small white onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, sliced
Recipe
Put beef in a 4-quart slow cooker. Mix together flour, salt and pepper; sprinkle over meat, stirring to coat each piece with flour. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well.
Cover; cook on low heat setting 10 to 12 hours (or on high heat setting 4 to 6 hours). Stir stew thoroughly before serving.
