    Cherry Fudge Brownie Cheesecake

    CRUST:
    1 package Betty Crocker supreme fudge brownie mix (with chocolate syrup pouch or can), divided use
    3 tablespoons butter, melted

    FILLING:
    2 pkg (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
    1 1/2 cups heavy cream

    TOPPING:
    1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    CRUST:
    Mix 1 1/2 cups of the dry brownie mix and the butter thoroughly. Press into an ungreased square pan (don't pack too firmly).

    FILLING:
    Beat cream cheese in large bowl on medium speed, scraping bowl often until smooth, about 2 minutes.

    Stir in remaining dry brownie mix, heavy cream and chocolate syrup (included with brownie mix). Beat on medium speed about 5 minutes. Pour over crust in pan.

    Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until set. Cool.

    TOPPING:
    Spread pie filling over cheesecake. Refrigerate until chilled.
