CAKE
2 cups cake flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs, whisked
2 cups crushed pineapple and juice
1 teaspoon vanilla

TOPPING
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup nuts
1 cup coconut



Recipe



Sift flour, sugar, salt, and soda together. Add pineapple, eggs, and vanilla to sifted flour mixture.

Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Place evaporated milk, butter and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add nuts and coconut. Pour over hot cake.
