    1 package chocolate cake mix
    1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 egg
    dash salt
    1 (6oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Mix cake per directions and fill cups 2/3 full.

    Cream cheese w/ sugar, then beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate chips

    Drop 1 teaspoon cheese mixture onto each cupcake. Bake as package directs.

    You can frost them if you like with cream cheese type frosting, but they are rich and decadent plain.
