    1/4 Cup Butter
    1 Egg
    2 Cups Diced, peeled apple
    1/2 Cup Chopped nuts
    1 teaspoon Baking Soda
    1 Cup Flour

    Sauce
    1/2 Cup Sugar
    1/2 Cup Brown sugar (packed)
    1/4 Cup Butter
    1/2 Cup Cream

    Cake: Mix cake ingredients together and spread into 8x8 inch buttered pan. Bake 45 minutes at 325. Serve while warm.

    Sauce: Mix ingredients together, bring to boil, stirring constantly. Serve hot over warm cake
