    Caramel Walnut Tart

    Put one pie crust into a tart shell. (I have a heart one that I used.) And then put this into the refrigerator covered to keep cool and ready.

    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water

    Stir together, then bring to a boil and don't stir anymore. Let it cook while getting dark. It took about 8-10 minutes or so. Then take it off the stove.

    2/3 c. cream
    2 oz. bittersweet chocolate (I used semisweet chocolate chips)
    4 T. butter
    3 T. honey
    1/2 t. salt

    Mix together and simmer for 5 minutes. Add to above with 2 1/2 c. unchopped walnuts and let cool.

    Pour into crust. Cover with a top crust. Chill 20 minutes. Bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees. When cool, drizzle melted chocolate over the top. So good!
