    2 egg whites
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 T. flour
    l 1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. sliced almonds with skins
    1 pkg. devils food cake mix
    1 pkg. (4 serving size) inst. chocolate fudge pudding
    3 eggs
    2 egg yolks
    3/4 c. of water
    1 can of cream of coconut
    1 1/2 T. coconut flavoring

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 10 cup fluted tube pan using Bakers Joy Spray or grease and flour. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add sugar, a tablespoon at a time and beat until mixture forms stiff shiny peaks. Fold in almonds, coconut and flour. Set aside.

    In a large mixer bowl combine remaining ingredients. Moisten ingredients; then beat at medium speed of electric mixer for 2 minutes. Pour 1/3 of batter into prepared pan. Evenly spoon in egg white mixture and top with remaining batter.

    Bake for 50-55 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and finish cooling on wire rack. Garnish with confectioners icing and Maraschino Cherries. Optional: sprinkle with shredded coconut (toast the coconut for a nice finished look). This would be a very pretty holiday cake.
