1 cup margarine
1 cup strawberry jam
2 cups brown sugar (packed)
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup raisins
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 cups flour
1 cup buttermilk
2 Square bitter chocolate, melted
3 eggs, separated



Recipe



Beat egg whites and set aside. Cream margarine and sugar. Add egg yolks and stir. add melted chocolate and stir.

Add raisins, cinnamon, cloves and flour and mix well. Stir in nuts and jam. Add baking powder to buttermilk and quickly stir into cake mixture.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Quickly pour into greased and floured bundt pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until golden.
