Crust:
1-1/4 cup chopped pecans
1-1/4 cup flaked coconut
Cake:
1 box German Chocolate Cake mix (prepared according to directions on box)
Filling:
1 stick butter
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 bag powdered sugar
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 pan thoroughly with cooking
spray. Mix pecans & coconut & spread evenly in bottom of pan. Pour cake
batter over pecan mixture. Melt cream cheese & butter. Stir in powdered
sugar until smooth. Pour over cake batter.
Bake until a toothpick comes out cleanly when inserted into the center of
the cake (about 30-35 minutes).
NOTE: Cake batter will cover filling mix during baking which creates a
layered affect.
