    List of Ingredients




    1 (18 1/4-ounce) package butter-flavored cake mix
    2 cups sugar
    1 (8-ounce) carton sour cream
    1 (12-ounce) package frozen coconut, thawed
    1 (12-ounce) carton Cool Whip, thawed

    Recipe



    Prepare cake according to directions, making 2 layers. Cool completely. Slice both layers horizontally making 4 thin layers. Combine sugar, sour cream, and coconut. Blend well and chill, reserving 1 cup. After chilled, spread on top and side of each layer as you stack. Now add reserved portion to Cool Whip. Blend until smooth and ice cake all over. Place in airtight container and refrigerate 2 or 3 days.
