Base:
1 box (7 oz) vanilla wafers
Pinch of cinnamon
2 tbsp. sugar
1 stick of butter
Cake:
2 eight oz. pkgs. cream cheese
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 small, 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
Topping:
1 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. sugar
Recipe
To make base, crush vanilla wafers. Add sugar and cinnamon. Melt butter and add to wafer mix. Press in bottom of 8x12 inch pan. Set aside. In bowl, cream the cheese using a mixer. Add sugar a little at a time. Mix in lemon juice, then 1 egg at a time. Pour over crust. Bake in oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Beat sour cream, adding sugar and vanilla. Spread on the cheese cake. Bake additional 5 minutes. Cool and refrigerate overnight. Better than Sara Lee!
