List of Ingredients




1 pound butter
1 pound sugar 5 eggs, beaten
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk
1/2 pound dates
1 pound raisins
1 pound currants
1/2 pound mixed peel
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup cherries


Recipe



Preheat oven to 250F.
Cream butter and sugar, add beaten eggs, coconutand fruit; add milk.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together; add to first mixture.
Add pineapple. Mix well.
Pour into greased and paper lined pans. Bake 4 hours in a slow oven, preheated 250F.
