    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 1/3 cups sugar
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    1 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 10 3/4 ounce can Campbell's
    condensed tomato soup
    1/2 cup shortening
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup water

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 by 9
    inch baking pan. In large bowl, combine all ingredients.
    With mixer at low speed, beat until well mixed, scraping
    bowl constantly. At high speed, beat 4 minutes, scraping
    bowl occasionally. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40
    minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes
    out clean. Let stand in pan on wire rack, cool completely.
    Frost as desired.

    Tomato Soup Layer Cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Grease and flour two 8 inch round cake pans. Prepare
    batter as directed in step 2; pour into prepared pans.
    Bake 35-40 minutes. Let stand in pans on wire rack 10
    minutes. Remove from pans; cool completely. Frost/

    Cupcakes: preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place paper liners
    in twenty four (3 inch) muffin cups or grease and flour
    cups. Prepare batter as directed in step 2; spoon into
    cups, filling 1/2 full. Bake 30 minutes. Cool as directed
    in step 3.

    Tomato Soup Bundt Cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Grease and flour 10 inch Bundt pan. Prepare batter as
    directed in step 2; pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour.
    Let stand in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from
    pan; cool completely. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.

    Quick Tomato Spice Cake: Substitute 1 package about 8
    ounces spice cake mix for dry ingredients and shortening.
    Increase water to 1/2 cup. Mix and bake according to
    package directions. Cool as directed in step 3.
