    Caramel Whip Angel Food Cake

    1 cup cake flour
    1½ cup confectionary sugar
    1½ cups egg whites
    1½ teaspoon cream of tartar
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1½ teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    Heat over to 375 degrees. Stir together flour and first amount of sugar. Set aside. In large bowl, beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until foamy. Add second amount of sugar, 2 teaspoons at a time. Beat on high until stiff peaks. Fold in vanilla. Sprinkle flour/sugar mixture ¼ cup at a time. Fold in until flour/sugar mixture disappears. Push batter in ungreased tube pan. Cut through butter. Bake 30-35 minutes. Invert and cool. Slice into layers and fill with caramel whip filling. Used rest for topping.

    Carmel Whip Filling
    1 cup whipping cream
    2 cup caramel ice cream topping

    Whip until stiff. Fold into caramel topping. Chill.
