4 eggs
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/4 cups dark corn syrup
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 cup pecan halves
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
pastry for a 9-inch single crust pie
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Add the brown sugar and mix well. Blend in the remaining ingredients and pour into the pastry shell
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the center of the pie is puffed and golden brown. Cool.
Serve with whipped cream.
