Mango Cake

2 1/2 c. mashed mangos (from jar is fine)
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. AP flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 of a 8-ounce pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. butter or margarine softened
2 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Recipe
Combine first three ingredients in mixing bowl and mix well. Stir in flour, soda, pecans and 1 tsp. vanilla.
Pour into 13x9x2-inch greased and floured baking pan. Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool cake.
Topping:
Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Spread over top of cake.
Yield: 15 to 18 servings
