    Cake:
    2 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    1 cup water
    1/2 cup Crisco shortening
    1 stick margarine
    4 Tablespoons cocoa
    1 teaspoon milk
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 cup buttermilk

    Icing:
    1/3 cup sweet milk
    3-1/2 Tablespoons cocoa
    1 stick margarine
    1 cup chopped nuts
    1 box powdered sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    Cake: Sift flour and sugar. In saucepan, mix water, shortening, margarine, vanilla, and cocoa and bring to a boil (stir often). Pour over flour/sugar mixture. Mix eggs, baking soda, and buttermilk together in a separate bowl and add to chocolate mixture. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 25 minutes.

    Icing: In a saucepan, combine sweet milk, cocoa, and margarine and bring to a boil. Add 1 box powdered sugar and vanilla gradually; mix well. Add pecans and mix with icing. Pour and spread over hot cake.
