    1/2 cup plus 5 Tablespoons butter
    7 ounces of sugar
    the juice and rind of 1/2 of a lemon
    the juice and rind of 1/2 of an orange
    1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    3 eggs

    Recipe



    Cream butter, add sugar and beat until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Next add the juices and rinds, then flour and baking powder. Pour into cake pan with hole in the center but not to high. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for about 45 minutes. Let cool and frost.

    Frosting: Mix together 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 Tablespoon orange juice and 1 Tablespoon lemon juice.
