Just Like a Mounds Choco Coconut Cake

1 chocolate cake mix
16 oz sour cream
12 oz frozen coconut, thawed
2 cup sugar Recipe
Mix sour cream, coconut and sugar. Allow to chill in refrigerator for at least 4 hours overnight. Prepare chocolate cake according to box directions in two 9 inch round pans. Allow to cool completely. Cut each cake lengthways to make four round cakes. Place first layer on plate, cut side up. Frost with less than 1/4 of the coconut mixture, spreading to with 1/2 inch of edge, repeat with remaining layers. Frost top and sides with what coconut is left. Chill cake in refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before slicing.
