    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    15 Italian plums, pitted and halved

    Glaze:
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 teaspoons cinnamon

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and 1/2 cup sugar together. Beat in eggs one at a time. Blend salt, flour and baking powder. Combine flour mixture in with the creamed mixture. Butter and flour an 8 x 8-inch baking pan. Spread dough out evenly. Place plum halves, skin side down, on the batter. Sprinkle sugar topping over the plums. Dot with butter. Bake for 45 minutes.
