List of Ingredients




1 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. soda

1 tbsp. vinegar
1/3 c. salad oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water

Sift first 5 ingredients into 8x8 pan. (Can also be a round pan)
Add the rest of the ingredients, stirring until smooth.

Bake 30-35 min. at 350 deg. Cool and ice or let it cool a few minutes
and eat up with a big glass of cold milk! Gooood!

Seven Minute Fluffy Frosting
(use high speed on mixer)

Combine in top of double boiler (a large one, this stuff really grows)

2 egg whites
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tablespoon white corn syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs slightly then place over simmering water. Beat at high speed for 7 to 10 minutes or until mixture holds stiff peaks. Remove from heat and blend in vanilla. Ice the cake.
You need to do this sort of fast. This frosting can set up very quickly as it cools off.
