    3 Tbsp. butter
    5 juicy apples
    1 cup lt. brown sugar
    1 egg
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 cup milk
    1 cup white sugar
    pinch salt
    2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 large cup flour
    nutmeg

    Recipe



    Into a cake pan, put three Tbsp. butter.
    Peel & slice apples thin & add to butter.
    To this, add one cup of lt. brown sugar.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    For the batter, place 3 Tbsp. butter into a cup, drop 1 egg into this, fill with milk & beat thoroughly.
    Take one cup sugar, the salt, baking powder & four & sift together.
    Add to 1st mixture.
    Beat thoroughly for 3 minutes, pour over apples & bake 40 minutes in a hot oven.
    Serve with whipped cream.
