Cold Oven Pound Cake

2 sticks of butter
2 C sugar
6 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 C flour
1/2 pint whipping cream

Recipe



Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.
Add flour alternately in 4 parts, blending each time.
Grease and flour large tube pan and pour in batter.
Place in COLD oven.
Bake at 325º degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Remove while warm.
**** This cake will not work if you put it into a preheated oven.
