    1/4 cup margarine
    1 1/3 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup dairy sour cream
    2 mashed bananas
    1/2 cup chopped nuts

    Recipe



    In a large bowl combine margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream. Then add the bananas and nuts. Mix only until blended. Pour into a greased 9 by 12 inch baking pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350°F.

    Caramel Frosting

    In a small pan combine 1 cup brown sugar and 2 tablespoons butter. Boil for 2 minutes; then add 1/3 cup milk and boil 1 minute. Let cool just until warm. Stir in confectioners sugar until it is spreading consistency.
