List of Ingredients
1 to 1.5 lb of hamburger ( I use lean 90%)
small onion ( I use Vidalia-sweet)
1 can tomato soup with a dash of sugar to kill the acid taste...(I use 2 cans of tomato soup)
1.5 cups cooked macaronni
1 4oz. package Sharp Grated Cheese
Recipe
Lightly saute chopped onion in skillet with butter.
Then add hamburger to brown with the onion.
While meat is browning, cook macaronni per the package directions (I tend to cook al dente ,about 7 minutes,because the macaronni will cook longer in the oven)
Drain macaronni and drain any fat off the hamburger. Add macaronni and hamburger/onion to a casserole dish.
Pour tomato soup over the mix and stir to coat the hamburger/macaronni well.
Top with grated cheese (Sometimes I add a little cheese into the hamburger/macaronni mix too).
Crush a few handfuls of saltine crackers over the top, if desired.
Bake 30-40 minutes at 350. Remove/Cool well/Freeze.
