Bride’s Pride Casserole

List of Ingredients
1 teaspoon salt or less
1 lb. ground beef
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, thawed
1 1/2 cups sliced celery
3 green onion, chopped, tops included
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, stems and pieces
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 oz. Chinese noodles or corn chips or potato chips
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat a heavy skillet. Sprinkle slat in and add ground beef. Cook, stirring until meat loses red color. Spread in shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Scatter uncooked, thawed peas, celery and green onions over the crumbled meat. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Mix mushrooms and liquid with soup. Pour over meat mixture. Crush noodles or chips and sprinkle over all. Bake 35 –45 minutes. The celery should be crisp and crunchy when done. Serves 6.
