Tex-Mex Spaghetti Pie

8 ounces spaghetti
1/3 cup milk
1 egg
1 pound sausage
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (4-ounce) can green chilies
1 tablespoon chili powder
3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 (16-ounce) can tomato sauce
2 cups Monterey Jack cheese
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain. Beat milk and egg. Toss with spaghetti. Arrange in prepared pan.
Cook sausage. Add onion and green pepper. Stir in green chilies, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt and cayenne pepper. Stir in tomato sauce. Gently cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Spoon over spaghetti mixture. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until cheese melts. Let stand for 5 minutes. Cut into squares to serve.
