    1 whole 4-5 lb. chicken
    1 cup apple cider
    1 lime
    2 tablespoons seasonings of choice (garlic, basil, thyme, red pepper, etc.)
    Salt and Pepper

    Preheat oven at 375.

    Discard the chicken innards and trim off excess skin and fat around the cavity of the chicken. The cavity should be wide enough to fit over the chicken sitter.

    Add apple cider to chicken sitter.

    Cut lime in half. Chop one half into small pieces and put in sitter. Squeeze the juice of the other half of the lime into the sitter.

    Add 1 tablespoon of seasonings to chicken sitter.

    Stir it all up.

    Season inside and outside of the chicken with salt, pepper and the rest of the seasoning.

    Put chicken sitter on a baking sheet. Put chicken on the sitter. Bake 15 minutes per pound.
