Chicken Breasts With Cheese and Chilies

4 boned and skinned chicken breasts (about 1 1/2 lbs.)
1 c. shredded jack cheese
1 can (4oz.) diced green chilies
1/2 c. chopped green onions, including tops
4 slices crispy cooked bacon, crumbled
1 med. firm-ripe avocado, chopped
1 c. sour cream (optional)
Recipe
Lay chicken breasts in 8x12 pan, cover tightly with foil. Bake in 350 oven for 15 min. Mix cheese and chilies. Cover each breast with mixture, patting to hold in place. Sprinkle with green onions and bacon. Return to oven and bake uncovered until chicken is white in center of thickest piece and cheese melts (approx. 20 min). Scatter avocado over chicken; serve with sour cream.
