    4 - chicken breasts boneless, skinless
    1 - large onion sliced
    1 - green bell pepper cut into strips
    1/2 cup - sliced mushrooms
    15 ounce - can of diced tomatoes
    0.87 ounce - package chicken gravy mix
    1 tablespoon - Italian seasoning
    1 teaspoon - garlic salt
    1 teaspoon - black pepper


    Lightly brown the chicken breasts on both sides in a lightly greased skillet. Remove the chicken and place in a 2-quart casserole dish or a slow cooker. Saute the onion, green pepper and the mushrooms in the skillet for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Mix the remaining ingredients together in a small mixing bowl and add to the vegetables in the skillet. Pour over the chicken breasts and bake at 350 degrees, covered for 40 minutes, or 4 hours on low in a slow cooker.

    Complete this dish by serving over cooked pasta with a tossed salad and French bread.
