    4 chicken breasts
    2 medium onions
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 jar Ortega salsa (heat depends on you)
    1 small can chopped green chiles
    1 package corn tortillas
    1 1/2 cups grated Jack cheese or aged Cheddar

    Recipe



    Wrap each chicken breast in foil after it has been salted and peppered. Bake 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cool in foil. Save juices. Shred chicken in bowl. In another bowl add juice of the chicken, the can of soup, salsa and chiles. Slice onion and saute lightly. Slice tortillas in 1" strips. Layer ingredients: line pan with strips of tortillas, sprinkle with chicken, the sauce mixture, the cheese. Keep layering ending with cheese. Bake 45 minutes-1hour. Use 1 can chicken broth if you don't have enough juice from chicken. You can put this in refrigerator overnight and use the next day.
