Five Card Stud Chicken

1 stick butter
1 large sweet onion (coarsely diced)
1 can stems and pieces mushrooms
2 cups burgandy wine
flour/salt/pepper
1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breast
1 large can tomato sauce
pkg of egg noodles

This is so easy to make, the best way to make it is slow. The flavors blend. I use a large electric fry pan with a cover.
In large frying pan, melt butter. Add onions and mushrooms and sauté until onions are tender. Coat each piece of chicken with flour, then salt and pepper to taste. Push onions and mushrooms to the sides of the pan and add chicken. Brown chicken on each side. Turn up heat to high and add burgundy. Boil for five minutes. Reduce heat and add tomato sauce. Stir well and continue to cook at just barely bubbling, covered for 20 minutes. Prepare egg noodles per package.
Serve chicken and sauce over noodles
