List of Ingredients
1/4 c. butter or margerine
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 3/4 punds)
1/2 c. dry white wine (or chicken broth)
1 T. chopped fresh or 1/2 t. dried dill weed
1 T. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
2 medium green onions, sliced (2 T.)
* Save time by using scissors to slice the onions!
Recipe
1. Melt butter in 10" skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in butter 6 mins., turning once, until light brown.
2. Mix wine, dill weed, lemon juice, and salt; pour over chicken. Cover and simmer 10-15 mins. or until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet; keep warm.
3. Heat wine mixture to boiling. Boil about 3 mins. or until reduced by half; pour over chicken. Sprinkle with onions.
4. (Optional) Garnish with fresh dill, basil, or lemon peel.
* Serve with rice or other sides that will not overwhelm the delicate flavor of the chicken!
