1 1/4 cups crushed plain tortilla chips
1 package (1.25 oz.) Lawry's Taco Seasoning Mix
18 to 20 chicken drummettes (thick part of the wing)


Recipe



In large plastic bag, combine crushed tortilla chips with taco seasoning mix. Dampen chicken with water and shake off excess. Place a few pieces at a time in plastic bag; shake thoroughly to coat with chips.

Microwave directions:
Arrange on greased microwave-safe pie plate in spoke pattern with thick ends of chicken toward outside edge of plate. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave at medium-high (70% power) 8-10 minutes or until chicken is crispy, turning plate after 5 minutes. Serve with salsa for dipping.

Conventional directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare and coat chicken as above. Arrange on greased shallow baking pan; bake uncovered 30 minutes or until chicken is crispy. Serve as above.
