Austrian Chocolate Balls

2 oz (2 squares) unsweetened chocolate
1/3 cup butter
Melt in saucepan over low heat, remove from heat.
1 cup sugar
1 egg plus 1 yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Stir into chocolate mixture, blend well.
1 1/3 cups flour
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
Gradually stir in flour and nuts until well combined.
Shape into 3/4" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, about 1" apart.
Bake at 350 for 8-12 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet, and cool.
Icing:
1 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 TBS butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 TBS milk
Melt chocolate and butter. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients, blend well. Dip tops of cookies into glaze. Allow to dry.
