Barbara Radzvilla Cranberry Sauce

2 cups fresh cranberries
2/3 to 1 cup sugar, to taste
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon orange zest
2 tablespoons Triple Sec (or other orange liqueur)
Recipe
Place the cranberries in a food processor and finely chop. Place the cranberries in a saucepan and stir in the sugar and water over medium-low heat. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the orange zest during the last 5 minutes of cooking. Off heat, stir in the Triple Sec. Cool to room temperature, or chill to serve. Serves 8 to 10.
