Boil 4 c. of cranberries in 2 cups water until berries pop. Strain through fine sieve.
Add 2 c. of sugar, juice of l lemon to liquid from cranberries. Stir well to dissolve. I use a colander for straining
Freeze to hard consistency
Mash cranberries with potato masher while straining through
colander.
Serve from freezer as this thaws rather quick
