Cranberry Fruit Conserve

1 12-ounce bag cranberries
1 ¾ cups sugar
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
1 tablespoon finely shredded orange peel
1/3 cup orange juice
2 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
¾ cup raisins
Recipe
Combine the cranberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water in a medium saucepan. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until the skins pop. Add the apple and the orange and lemon peels and juices. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered, for 15 minutes more. Remove from the heat and stir in the raisins. Let cool for 1 hour. (Mixture will thicken as it cools.) Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving. Makes 4 cups.
