4 large egg yoks
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup light cream (not 1/2 and 1/2)
3 Tablespoons dark rum
1 1/2 teaspoons brandy
few grains nutmeg
Recipe
Beat egg yoks with the sugar until thick. Add cream and cook in a double boiler until thick, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, cool slightly, and add rum, brandy and nutmeg. Refrigerate until ready to use.
