Frozen Pumpkin Squares

1 1/2 c graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c melted butter
1/4 c sugar
1/2 c pecans, chopped
1 qt. vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 c canned pumpkin
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp powdered cloves
Recipe
Combine crumbs, butter, sugar, and nuts. Press firmly into sides and bottom of a 9" square baking pan. Bake 375° 8 minutes. Cool.
Soften ice cream. Mix pumpkin, brown sugar and spices.
Stir pumpkin mixture into ice cream. Place in cooled crust.
Put in freezer till hard. Remove from freezer 15-20 minutes before serving. Cut into 3" squares, and top with whipped cream.
