    Jack Daniels Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie

    3 jumbo eggs -- slightly beaten
    1 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons margarine -- melted
    1 cup dark corn syrup
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/4 cup Jack Daniels
    1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    1 cup pecans
    1 10 inch pie crust -- unbaked

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F). Combine eggs, sugar, margarine, syrup and vanilla; mix well.

    Sprinkle one-half of the chocolate chips onto bottom of pie crust, cover with pecans. Pour filling into pie crust and sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips.

    Bake 35-40 minutes, or until knife inserted halfway between the center and the edge of the pie comes out clean. Let it cool 30 minutes before cutting.

    The melted chocolate chips on the top of the pie makes it difficult to test for doneness.
